Clown with lollipop by Neil David, Jr
$ 150.00
This katsina doll is carved by Neil David Jr from First Mesa.
Adorable 5" (almost 6" with horns) chubby Koyala is holding a little red lollipop.
Koyala is the proper term for this type of clown. There are many different versions of clowns. They bring laughter to the ceremonies by mocking what is not to be done (proper etiquette).
Some will call him "Koshari" / "Koshare", but that word does not exist in the Hopi Language.
