Seed Carrier by Quinston Taylor
$ 0.00
This katsina doll was carved by Quinston Taylor from Kykotsmovi.
He is 5 1/2 inches tall and 7 inches tall overall.
Quinston made a very impressive and very real 3 corn husk mouth.
This doll is not signed, but I purchased him directly from the carver.
Korososta represents seeds of different plants, especially the crops known to the Hopi. The Korososta katsina brings seeds for the people, and his dances represent “planting”. He appears during the Angk’wa when planting is beginning.
